ESCAPE

Alone, Together

Playa Viva, Mexico

February 26 - March 4, 2022

Time to put yourself first.

Opportunities for building connection.

Space to explore and be inspired.

Supportive classes to hold your presence.

Permission to do nothing at all.

Run away with me ...

Set on 200 acres of wild coastal reserve, Playa Viva gives you plenty of space to be alone with yourself, well deserved time away from your responsibilities, and endless opportunities to reconnect with the natural rhythms of the sun, moon and waves.

The Alone, Together Retreat was designed with the intention of fostering creativity through the balance of structured practices and a loosely scheduled itinerary.  While there will be plenty of chances to play, participate and be in community; how you show up each day is completely up to you.  No questions asked.  This is a judgment free zone.

Infused with Katonah Yoga® techniques and theory, our daily movement and breath classes will explore ways to build healthy boundaries around our precious time and personal space, so that we can step back into life fully as our best creative selves.

Wander through the property farm full of mango trees, coconut palms, and cashews.  Sip fresh juice (or mezcal) by the pool.  Take a surf lesson.  Lizard in the sun.  Watch the waves from your room.  It’s your time.  Savor it.

YOUR WEEK away INCLUDES

Rebecca - just a quick note to tell you that I am revitalized!!! Time and Space was exactly what I needed to awaken my senses and reengage with the world. Thank you for curating the trip and guiding my practice. You have truly become a teacher's teacher with a wealth of knowledge, grace, passion, patience, and authenticity. I was on the verge of breaking through to a new dimension before attending the retreat and now I'm there! Om shanti, beautiful yogini. You are in my heart always.

I attended a retreat led by Rebecca Jo and it exceeded my expectations due to her passion and commitment to being an incredible yoga guide. There was ample time to explore the region (Portugal), enjoy individual pursuits, and to meet some great fellow yogis. However, what I enjoyed most is that Rebecca Jo kept yoga the priority of the retreat. Two thumbs up for her well planned classes and attention to the students!
